There is a Blains Farm and Fleet right next to the Menards. You can find anything there.
In Wisconsin, the majority of the stores are Mills Fleet and Farm (althought there is a Blain's Farm and Fleet in Waukesha). So F and F is still on my shopping list.
As a matter of fact, I did buy some jeans and a new insulated work jacket at that Farm and Fleet you mentioned.

Hope you didn't get lost in Muscatine!
Should be nice temp wise here but the winds are getting tiresome.
We are starting to get to know the city....althought the streets sure are goofy. Brian lives close to Menards (have to like that because no Fleet and Farm) so it's fairly easy to get around.

Weather has been great, even if we are not camping. Visited our Brian, the last four days, in Iowa. Unfortunately, saw the Badger game and listened to the Packer game on the way home............but it was 72 here today.
Still nice enough to get bike ride in after work today.

Hey now, Winter is not even here and we are all grumping, come on. Snow is a good thing, It gives me an excuse to play with all my snow related toys :B I will agree, i still need some time to finish up all my fall chores, blow out water lines, put the camper away, finish picking my corn, put the plow on the truck, oh and maybe it would help if the truck had a plow mount.....guess I better get some sleep so I can start over tomorrow.
I'm with you Marty. We hooked up and checked the plows and salters yesterday....good to go. 50 ton of Ice Melter sitting here ready to go. Why does everybody talk about snow like it's the "black plague"? You do live in WI and it does snow sooner or later. LOL :R

I saw a note on the caring bridge site that Bob Stoddard passed away Tuesday night.

On a lighter note, Butch (wolfs on the prowl) I noticed you were working on a new side line Saturday.... WBWI ring a bell?
Wow....somebody actually listens to the radio on a Saturday afternoon.
We were camping at Calumet County park this past weekend and the weather was great. But had to go back to West Bend because
West Bend Mutual had an Open House for the community (after our 2 year building expansion). WBWI had their remote trailer set up for a couple of hours to broadcast. Ran out of interviewees so they tracked me down (Fuzz Martin does not look like he sounds).
Then to top it off, the local cable TV was also doing their thing and yes....another interview.
I'll have an autograph booth set up this weekend. site 103 :W LOL
But don't worry I'm not planning on quittting my day job.

So what's the preferred way to remove ticks these days? Since I don't smoke anymore the lit cig or hot match trick isn't very opertunistic :@
Experts say a tweezer does just fine....a steady tug and out they come. Cigs, vaseline and other ways do not work. Old wives tales.

, besides the few showers that blew through it's pretty nice out there.
don't remind me.....
We were camping this past Tuesday thru Thursday at High Cliff state park AND visited friends at their lake home, north of Shawano this past weekend, and the weather wasn't bad. a little cool over the weekend but......you deal with it.
Now the "sqeeters" and ticks are a different story

devils lake sp is closed.
Devil's Lake and Rocky Arbor State parks are closed. AND you know it's really bad when they close down Hwy. 33 in Allenton ;).
Unofficially here, 1.45" last Thursday, 6.45" last weekend and 3.1" last night. That brings the total to almost 11" for June (3.5" avg); 27" for the year....and we average 36" for entire year.
This year, New record for snow, new record for rain?????
What in the world is going on here?
